In 2015, I approached the upcoming government to propose making 'Innovation' a central pillar of the new Canadian government's agenda to help Canada embrace tech.

I was asked to outline the vision in a deck.

I worked with senior staff in Ontario to send the proposal to Ottawa that included a high level vision, key initiatives, and a media PR strategy. In the following days a PR campaign was launched nation wide outlining the vision to Canadians. In the years since, the government of Canada created its first ever Ministry for Economic Development & Innovation, and has invested heavily into business accelerators with a key focus on AI, a space where Canada is now one of the global leaders.
